Yes, from the inside. I gig jazz on bass around Denver, duo to quartet. And the theory I teach is plain music theory: jazz is one palette of colors, and so are pop, rock, flamenco, and R&B. We use whichever palette your music is painted with.

There are weekly jams in Denver, and I'm a known player at them. When you're ready, that's a destination we can aim lessons at: I teach you the tune you'll call ahead of time, walk you through the signup list, introduce you around, and I'll be there.
